Graves Wood

Graves Wood is just inside Nottinghamshire at grid reference SK535718. You're unikely to be in a crowd around here as this isn't 'walking' country. You're also unlikely to see many more impressive bluebell woods ....
During the next half an hour we saw five hares.

LOVELY! Bluebells are my favourite! I'm off to Great Shacklow woods today. More wild garlic than bluebells, but I hope to get some good pics. I'd like to see more of graves wood though - any chance? You can see my favourite wood on my blog; http://peakwalks.blogspot.com/2008/05/walk-through-english-bluebell-wood.html It's Shaw wood, at Oakerthorpe (just outside Alfreton). Due to work, I've not been able to get this year though :-(

Hope you had a good day in Great Shacklow Woods, Les. We were in Cressbrook Dale on Sunday and the cowslips and orchids were marvellous.

As for Graves Wood I've got some more photos but I'm not quite ready to post them yet.

Thanks for the link to the Oakerthorpe wood. I'll have a look at that in a few minutes.

You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view

That's fair comment Anonymous ... this particular blog has been closed to the general public for some months however.

My other blog is On A Wildgoose Chase ~ I will try and make it more personal. In the meantime thank you for chipping in. It is appreciated.
