Working party : 4th March 2006
It sounds as though we're chopping down hawthorn again tomorrow - up at Taxal - between Buxton and Whaley Bridge.
There are three of us going from the Derbyshire Dales group and we'll be working with some Peak Park volunteers before a Venture Scout group go in on Sunday and carry on the work.
No doubt pictures will follow hereabouts !

We've been snowed off ! There were going to be three of us going from our group - one from Derby, one from Ashbourne and me from Darley Dale. What with the snow and ice though we felt that even if we get there [north of Buxton] would it be fit enough to do any work ?
No way of getting in touch with the Peak Park Rangers as far as I know so hopefully we've not let anyone down.
We'll find out on Monday perhaps.
